The Presbyterian Church in Korea - Kosin opened its 64th General Assembly at Korea Theological Seminary, located on Chungjeol-lo in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, and elected Rev. Kim Cheol-bong (Busan Sajikdong Church) as its new moderator and Rev. Shin Sang-hyeon (Ulsan Mipo Church) as new vice-moderator. Important issues for this year’s PCK Kosin GA include the merger of Kosin University and Korea Theological Seminary, allowing pastors to hold secondary jobs if their church is not yet independent, and establishing a disaster and emergency relief organization.
