36 young students from seven churches in Chungcheongnam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeollanam-do participated in “Camp in Seoul” from January 19 to 21. The program was organized by Hangijang (The Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea - PROK) Welfare Foundation, jointly with Yeolim Church’s sponsorship, as an excursion to the capital city.

On the first day, the students went on a sightseeing to Cheonggyecheon, Gwanghwamun Plaza, and Gyeongbokgung Palace in downtown Seoul. They spent the next day at an amusement park, and on the last day the group visited the National Assembly, the 63 Building, and a broadcasting station.

Hangijang Welfare Foundation and Yeolim Church have been operating Camp in Seoul since 2012. Rev. Na Haek-jib of Yeolim Church said, “We planned this program for young students who live in the remote regions from Seoul to broaden their cultural perspective. Although for a short time, I hope here in Seoul they get to experience something new as much as possible.”
