The Worldwide Korean Christian Broadcasting Association (WCBA, Board Chair: Lee Young-hoon) held its 20th general assembly in Seoul from April 20th to 23rd on the theme “Gospel to the Ends of the Earth by Broadcasting! (Matthew 24:14).” 300 persons, including Chairman Joo Sun-young of WMBC TV, representatives of WCBA member companies, Korean church leaders including Park Jong-sun (honorary pastor of Choongshin Presbyterian Church), and Minister Kim Jong-deok of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, participated in the opening service (photo) held at Millennium Hilton Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Founded in 1995, WCBA has 52 member Korean Christian broadcasting companies in and outside Korea, including Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) in Korea and WMBC in the United States.
