On May 12, the second day of Jesus Korea Holiness Church (JKHC)’s 94th General Assembly, the denomination appointed Rev. Song Deok-jun of Seoul Dogil Church as its 94th moderator, through the system of automatic succession to the position by the sitting vice-moderator. The event continues at the 80th Anniversary Memorial Building of Sungkyul University, in Anyang city, Gyeonggi-do.

In an interview with Kukmin Daily, Moderator Song said, “To revive our denomination and the Korean church, I will initiate a 1-2-3 movement and expand a Revival-Holy Spirit-Gospel movement.” The 1-2-3 movement is the reading of one chapter of the Bible each day, praying for two hours each day, and communicating with three persons each day about the Gospel.

Moderator Song is known to be a devoted pastor and one of the proudest members of JKHC. He established Dogil Church in 1976 and has served the church continuously.
