“Sing Happiness (poster), a musical filled with stories of “twisted youth,” is coming to Haeundae Hall, at Haeundae Cultural Cultural Center, Busan, with two showings daily (3:00 and 7:00 p.m) on July 25~26. Its main characters are Min-gi and Eun-seok, who are habituated to violence; and three youngsters who are suffering due to their torments: Sang-cheol, his friend and supporter Su-jin, and childhood victim of sexual assault Sang-suk. The young people try to achieve their dream by making use of Sang-cheol’s musical talents.

The musical’s planner Kim Eun-su (Representative, Awakening Ministry) said, “The background for the making of the musical was my hope to see significantly less violence at schools and youth in crisis. The inspiration came from the true story of Judge Chun Jong-ho, nicknamed ‘thundering judge'.” (For information, contact 070-4824-7386.)
