On February 3 the Anglican Church of Korea held a program at Sungkonghoe University in Guro-gu, Seoul, to educate its clergy for prevention of sexual violence. 60 women and men clergy participated in the education, which was part of a three-day, two-night theological training program for ACK clergy. Representative Choi Dae-heon (photo) of Cheongja Dabang, a psychology and theater therapy organization, was the guest speaker for the session. Though some presbyteries and women’s organizations of denominations such as the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea (PROK) have held education programs related to sexual violence, this was the first time for a denomination to hold such a program for its clergy as a whole.
