The “3rd Women’s Conference of Christian Social Welfare Expo 2016” opened on October 13 at Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, with the theme “Korean Church Women, Opening New Welfare Hopes.” The participants looked back on the past 130 some years of Korean church women’s activities of sharing and service, and resolved to continue playing a lead role in social welfare work.
In the statement announced this day, the participants declared, "We will serve our marginalized neighbors particularly migrant workers, marriage migrants, multicultural families, and North Korean defectors... As mothers of faith and mothers of this nation, we will practice love for to save North Koreans."
