2017-02-21 16:45

A special photography exhibition opened on February 16, titled “Anti-Japan Independence Movement Base Bukgando, Christianity, and Hanshin University.” The collection of photos shows Christian sites in Bukgando from one hundred years ago, and our ancestors in the faith who shed sweat and blood for the independence of the motherland. Yeon Kyu-hong, Dean of Hanshin Graduate School of Theology, commented, “Through this exhibition, it will be possible to cherish the memory of our Christian ancestors who lived during the unfinished Independence era in Bukgando… We hope that this exhibition will also be an opportunity to recognize Hanshin’s faith identity, inherited from Bukgando, and to strengthen our dream of peaceful reunification and Northern mission.”
