On October 13, Baekseok Spirit Academy (President: Rev. Chang Jong-hyun) of Baekseok University held the 7th “Reformed Theology of Life” Forum at the university’s Seoul campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the theme “Korean church unity through repentance and forgiveness.” Invited speakers shared various ideas for solving the conflicts and divisions within the Korean church. Approximately 1,000 persons participated in the forum. President Kim Myeong-yong of Presbyterian Theological Seminary said in his speech, “True repentance and forgiveness take place in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit... The Korean churches and believers need to be involved deeply in the process of repentance and forgiveness of our nation and people. This is the path for the church and Christians to walk, for reconciliation and peace in the world.
