Rev. Christoph Wonneberger (71), one of the leading figures of the “St. Nicholas Church Monday Prayer Meetings for Peace” in Leipzig, the former East Germany, which provided the impetus for German reunification, shared that historic experience through his sermon at the Sunday worship service of New Eden Church (Rev. So Gang-seok) in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do on March 29 (photo). Just as the ministries and experiences of the German churches contributed to national reunification, he told the congregation, “the Korean churches need to become peacemakers communicating neighborly love to North Korea.”
