The 2016 Mission Korea Conference is fast approaching, with the opening date of August 1. Begun in 1988, the Conference has fostered numerous missionaries and has led “Mission Korea.” Approximately 40% of the 27,000 currently active Korean missionaries are estimated to be alumni of the Mission Korea Conference.

The conference has nurtured younger-generation missionaries by planting the passion for mission and motivating them to live their lives as missionaries. While campus mission has faced challenges, and fewer and fewer youth have committed to becoming missionaries in recent years, the Mission Korea Conference has continued to play a role as the last bastion driving youth mission.

The biennial conference will be held at the Sejong University campus in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, for six days and five nights from August 1. (For more information, visit: missionkorea.org).
