Through this convention, CBMC Korea aims to raise the spirits of its members by helping them to develop leadership in communicating the Gospel and to recharge their energy, preparing them to lead in transforming their workplaces.
The event, which will continue until August 14, includes children’s and youth camps for the 400 some children of the members.
CBMC was established in 1930 in Chicago, U.S.A., as the “Christian Business Men’s Committee,” and now there are CBMC teams in approximately 100 countries including Korea. The purpose of the organization is to lead business women and men and professionals to testify to Jesus Christ as their Savior, and to fulfill their missions in this world (Matthew 28:18∼20). CMBC Korea was first registered in 1952 during the Korean War, and now has 7,500 members in 267 domestic teams and 148 international teams in 43 countries.
