2015-12-04 11:20

The season of the Red Kettle has returned. The Salvation Army Korea Territory (Commander: Park Jong-deok) held the ceremony to ring the first bell (photo) for the 2015 season of the Red Kettle campaign, and began its donation drive throughout the country. This year, Korean Salvation Army aims to gather seven billion won through its street campaign.

Besides campaigning in the streets, the Salvation Army will carry out donation campaigns at tollgates, churches and companies; will organize online and in-kind donations; and will increase its regular membership. The “Smart Kettle” will enable donors to select beneficiaries and method of support through a touch screen. The Salvation Army has upgraded the transparency and reliability of its campaign this year. Donations can be made by cash or card.
