2017-06-21 14:00

On June 16 (local time), an event was held to give thanks to United States veterans who participated in the Korean War, making noble sacrifices to protect the freedom of the Republic of Korea. Organized and hosted by Sae Eden Church (Rev. So Gang-seok) and the Korean People’s Peace and Sharing Foundation, some 450 U.S. veterans, 40 Korean veterans, and 600 Korean Americans participated in the event, held at Hotel Sheraton in North Houston, Texas.

The same day, Rev. So Gang-seok and survivors of the “Battle of Chosin Reservoir” (1950) dedicated flowers at the war memorial tower in Bear Creek Pioneers Park, Houston (photo below).

Sae Eden Church has been hosting the Korean War veterans remembrance event every year since 2007.
