The Christian Council of Korea (CCK) will have to repeat its entire election process for the 24th executive director post from the beginning.
On January 30, the Seoul Central District Court 51st Civil Division (presiding judge: Lee Je-jeong) accepted the petition submitted by Jeon Gwang-hun, director of the Puritan Spirituality Training Center, for an injunction against holding the executive director election, and ruled, “CCK is not to hold its executive director election scheduled for January 30th.” The CCK election, therefore, is now postponed to the end of next month.
On January 30, the CCK 29th general assembly (photo) progressed as planned, and decided to hold the election in February.
