In the photo, young students of Tolosa region in Leyte, Philippines, are about to enjoy jajangmyeon (Korean black bean sauce noodles) in front of Tolosa City Hall on September 9, the day after Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). The meal was prepared by the mission and service team of Changseong Shimin Church (Rev. Jang Je-han) and officers of the Arau Unit. Along with Tacloban, Tolosa is one of the areas most severely hit by super typhoon Haiyan 10 months ago. Together with the Arau officers, the “Jajangmyeon Team” prepared 1,500 dishes of jajangmyeon on this day. From September 8 to 12, they will serve a total of 10,000 persons including all the officers of Arau Unit, which has been carrying out restoration work for the past 9 months in the area damaged by Haiyan.
