The Korea Baptist Convention (KBC; Moderator: Rev. Kim Dae-hyeon) held its 104th General Assembly in the grand auditorium at Baptist Theological Seminary in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. The 1,508 representatives from 1,300 churches will discuss the denomination's 30 billion won debt, detailed regulations on allowing ordination of women pastors, and countermeasures against the Evangelical Baptist Church (also known as “the Salvation Sect” of Yu Byeong-eon).
