2015-01-29 13:28

Save the Children, an international relief and development agency, will host a Youth Joint Photo Exhibition “Seoul Meets Za’atar (photo)” from February 6th to 18th at the 57th Gallery on Yulgok-no in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The photos were taken by the participants in the “H.E.A.R.T: Healing and Education Through the Arts” program, held once a week since last August in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and twice a week since September at the refugee camp in Zaatari, Jordan. The young participants of the two countries took photos of their daily lives focusing on the theme “My most precious objects,” and the exhibition will include their conversations and comments about each other’s photos. The exhibition is free of charge and the gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Call 02-6900-4400 for more information.)

* Danwon High School lost more than 240 students (and additional four students are still missing) in the Sewol ferry disaster in April 2014, during their school field trip.
