On May 21, the National Peace and Reunification Council (NPRC; Rev. Jin Yo-han, executive director) announced the decision to hold a “South-North Joint Prayer Meeting of Thanks and Appeal for Peaceful Reunification of the Motherland,” around September or October this year at Bongsu Church in Pyongyang. On the 18th of this month, NPRC Executive Director Jin Yo-han met with a delegation from the Joseon Christian Federation (JCF; Rev. Kang Myeong-chul, chair) at Neungnado Restaurant in Shenyang, China, where the two groups agreed on the plan.
