This summer the Professors Mission Society of the Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (Korea CCC) celebrates its 30th anniversary. The Society members have been encouraging their students as they struggle to survive the overwhelming competition, while at the same time spreading the Gospel and the love of Jesus on university campuses in and outside Korea. The Society will hold a training camp at Bokwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, from August 25 to 26.

The idea of establishing the Professors Mission Society was first proposed in 1984 by 30 professors who participated in the CCC Summer Camp held at Jeonju University. The next year, thanks to the prayers and support of the late Rev. Kim Jun-gon, Korea CCC founder, the Society was formally launched. Currently the Society has 500 members: CCC advisor professors, former CCC members who are now professors, and other professors who together spread the Gospel on university campuses.

The photo was taken at the National CCC Korea Advisor Professors Workshop, held in the meeting room of Yongsan Station on December 9 last year.
