Christian hospitals recently held an event seeking ways to cooperate with local churches for shared growth. At the 20th Annual Convention of the Asian Christian Hospital Association (photo), held on November 12~14 at Hotel Le Win and Yesu Hospital in Jeonju, Jeonbuk-do, discussions centered on the theme “Christian Hospitals and Church Growth.” 200 some participants related to Christian hospitals in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and other parts of Asia presented information on their local situations and put their heads together in search of ways to cooperate. The presentations included instances in Japan and other countries where medical missions in remote, back-country areas led to the establishment of more local churches.
