On November 14, beneath an overpass near a doss house village and Gwangya (Wilderness) Church in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, the church held its 16th Day of Gwangya People for homeless persons, doss house villagers, and elderly persons living alone. The focus of the event was communicating the Gospel, and a musical depicted God’s only begotten son Jesus and his love and salvation through the cross. In his sermon, Keuneunhye (Great Grace) Church Pastor Lee Gyu-ho said, “Jesus cherishes each soul. I hope all who have gathered here will meet Jesus and live a happy life.”

The photo shows Rev. Im Myeong-hui (second from left) of Gwangya Church and homeless persons dancing together at the event.

10 organizations including Keuneunhye Church sponsored the lunch, winter jackets, and socks as presents on this day. (02-2636-3373·kwangya.org).
