Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI, President: Lee Seong-min) announced on September 3 that the organization has received a donation of 24 tons of rice from multinational fans of Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ)’s Yunho. The fans from 23 countries including Korea, China, Japan, Qatar, and Mauritius, sent 32 tons of "rice wreaths" (photo) to the drama-making announcement ceremony of Yagyeonggun Ilji (A Night Watchman’s Daily Record) on July 29 to cheer on Yunho, who plays “Museok” in the drama, and donated 24 tons from among the 32 tons to KFHI. This rice will be sent to 45 social welfare facilities in 10 regions including Gwangju, Yunho’s hometown, Seoul, and Busan, to help disadvantaged persons and elderly persons living by themselves, according to KFHI. Yunho helped build a school in Ghana with KFHI in September last year, and has been one of KFHI’s publicity ambassadors since this past March.
