The Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK Daeshin, moderator: Rev. Jang Jong-hyeon) opened its regular general assembly on September 5 at Baekseok University in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, and resolved to maintain its fullness and harmony. This assembly is the first since the two denominations of PCK Baekseok and PCK Daeshin merged last year. Through this general assembly, PCK Daeshin plans to reaffirm its status as one united denomination, and to take the lead in guarding and spreading the Gospel, which is the foundation of the church.



As its faith foundation, PCK Daeshin has adopted the PCK creed, the PCK catechism, and the Westminster Confession of Faith. Last year it became a medium-large denomination through the merger, with 7,139 local churches, 12,000 pastors, and 1.5 million believers.

The general assembly is to be continued until the 8th.
