Weekly “Christian Ecumenical Academy” to start in January 2015
The co-representatives of the Korean Church Commission on Faith and Order (KCFO) held their first meeting on December 4 at Kyungdong Church, on Jangchungdan-no, Jung-gu, Seoul. KCFO is an organization founded to activate Christian ecumenical movement links among the National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK), the Korean Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church in Korea.
Starting on January 22 and continuing till April 30 next year, KCFO has decided to operate a “Korea Christian Ecumenical Academy” every Thursday evening. The academy will include 13 lectures, with the first six taking place at Myeongdong Cathedral, at Myeongdong 2-ga, Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul, and the rest at the Seoul Cathedral of the Anglican Church of Korea, on Sejongdae-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul.
